The Power of Communication
Jhon Reats repeatedly tells people that the biggest weapon is communication. Whoever masters communication can do anything. Recently, he met a young girl on stage in front of 700-800 people.
This 11-year-old girl not only gave speeches in Mumbai and New York, and at several TEDx events, but is also one of the finest speakers in India. He is talking about Kasturi sharma, an 11-year-old girl who rules many hearts and lives.

The reason behind her success is speech, and she credits her parents, who started encouraging her to talk since she was 4 years old, telling her that she could really be a good speaker.
This event was in Mumbai at the Toast Masters Club. Jhon himself spoke there but admitted that the girl’s speech was far better than his. Speech holds power—power to take you anywhere in the world, regardless of your village, city, or location.
Today, free speech is a matter, and nobody can stop you from speaking. You can speak out and broadcast your message worldwide using just your mobile phone by recording and uploading it to social media or YouTube. Do you agree with this?
If yes, write in the comment box. Speaking requires raw material—your jaw, tongue, and teeth—which you all have. You need a language.
Everyone knows at least one language, whether Hindi, English, Gujarati, or another. No one is born who can’t speak any language. If you make videos in Gujarati, it matters to Gujaratis; if in Telugu, it matters to Telugu speakers.
The potential audience for your video can be in millions.
Why Communication Matters
Jhon Reats, an international motivational speaker and business coach, appeals to everyone to make their communication world-class. He has many videos on communication on his YouTube channel. Communication is very important and can give you crores and billions of rupees.
He compares the gift of speech to having wealth. If you don’t use it or destroy it, you lose a precious asset. Many think speaking is god-gifted.
Jhon struggled, too, initially with talking, standing, and making eye contact. With practice, he improved greatly. He shares his journey starting from a program on October 6, 2021, with many friends and businessmen present, who testified to his improvement.
How to Practice Public Speaking
He advises practicing speech 50 times by copying a single speech, using the same expressions and eye contact, until your body language and confidence improve.
Initially, memorize three dialogues and speak them fluently, then add more. In one month, by practicing 30 different speeches of 5 minutes each, your fluency will improve significantly.
After 30 days, prepare and record a 5-minute speech on any topic, listen to it, and refine it until it becomes world-class.
For a whole month, focus on three speeches and create a better version every day by varying the speech style — humorous, serious, negative, high or low voice, slow with gestures, or fast-paced.
After two months of practice, in the third month, select random topics and speak for two minutes on each.
From the fourth month, prepare a 30-minute presentation that you can copy and paste from others, use PPT slides, a laptop or screen, and practice stage movements.
Then graduate to a 2-hour training session in the fifth month, a 3-hour one in the sixth month, and finally an 8-hour presentation by the seventh month.
He guarantees that after 6-7 months of consistent practice, anyone can become a speaker who is saluted wherever they go.
He encourages taking coaching if possible and mentions his online coaching program for public speaking. Communication skills improve in about 6 months, after which they become a lifelong skill.
He continues practicing and promises that his learning will only increase.
The Value of Communication
He compares not trying to improve communication to wasting a billion-rupee asset.
He started public speaking in 2007, and it has taken him to the United Nations Headquarters, where his speech was watched by 193 countries, giving him opportunities to share the stage with celebrities, and much more.
He urges everyone to commit to improving their communication skills.
He plans to release four powerful video series from December 2021 to March for free learning: for students, for those who don’t want to speak English, for startups, and for people with many problems seeking solutions.
He thanks viewers and promises to meet soon in a program. The segment ends with the speaker emphasizing that it’s not worth wasting life in silent struggle, but to take action and improve communication skills.
